Extracted from the Nugere crater at the heart of Auvergne's volvic lava 
The blocks are extracted by hand from open-air quarry. They are then cut into slabs, processed and glazed.C/T/T/P
Colour
32 colours created and selected by Pyrolave because of their aesthetic appeal and quality of enamel.Texture
Delicate crazing appears on the surface during cooling. These fine lines are the imitable signature of the glazed lava stone.
Form
Having been fired at more than 1000 degrees C. Pyrolave worktops are resistant to very high temperatures. All pieces are undamaged at 300 degrees C.
Uses
Pyrolave has been used for kitchen worktops, reception desks, catering counter tops, bar tops, table tops, bathroom vanity tops, also claddings, spa equipment & swimming pools.
